How to frame the timetable of school

 What is timetable? Why it is required? Why it is necessary? This question arises when we discussed about the timetable. We are following timetable not in school in daily life also. Timetable makes us responsible and punctual. Who follows right timetable they achieve goals in their life. I remember one of my teacher words if you are getting late by 10 minutes in your daily schedule, then you should get up 10 minutes prior to your regular wakeup time.
                                   Time table gives a clear vision of school activities that is what work is being done during which period, where, by whom and when. It’s a mirror that reflects the whole educational program followed in the school, it includes home work, study time, work schedule and other activities of school. It depends upon various factors and conditions of schools. When we are framing a timetable, we have to see about the school infrastructure i.e., teachers, students, Classes and time slots.

                                While assigning work special care has to be taken that each teacher assigns those subjects who she/he best qualified to teach, she should not teach more than two departments. Teaching load should be equal to everyone. Should provide free period for teachers to increase their efficiency (Correction time) Period/classes allotted to teachers and students should not be fatigue. Some tough subjects should be taught during early hours when student mind is fresh. Duration of class period for students does not exceed up to 35 minutes, timetable varies to different seasons (summer/Winters). Some subjects like Practical’s, Sports Other Activities should be kept for 2 consecutive periods. At least 1 period in a week should be there for basic revision of a subject
