IMPORTANCE OF ENGLISH

English – The official language of England, and now the official language of half of the world. The language has spread its wings widely all over the world. There are thousands of languages in the world but English has its own history and future also. We can thank to British Rule over many countries in the past which gave English language its expansion. They have given one common language to many countries to come together on international stage. In this era of globalisation we can say that we have a global language
.

Now it is clear that to interact with the other countries we need one language which makes us able to communicate with other part of the world. To learn this language we need to use the same in our daily life and everywhere. It should be the part of our country first only then we will be able to compete on international level. That is the only reason indian government has been using English as the official language. It is used in banks, offices, aviatio and, medical sector etc. It is taught in schools, colleges
and other institutions
also.

It becomes more important when we talk about the foreign language as a part of our curriculum because at that time we are talking about the next generation preparing for the future development. Now the question is “How can we teach the language to our children?’ The answer is ‘Start from home’. As we all know we never teach our native language to our children. They listen us and develop the understanding. We are using and listening this language from long time so we are aware of some of the basic things. speaking practice what they have listened. Little wrong pronunciation can be
corrected repeatedly. Using the already listened words in daily practice can give a boost to speak them in accurate manner. This practice makes the learner more confident to use the language

READING- Reading can be started only after the listening and speaking.lt
becomes easy to read and relate the words and vocab to the attained knowledge of the subject. Routine reading practice helps the leaner to retain the knowledge for long time. Reading may include reading newspaper, general books and any other thing according to the interest of the learner. Reading is complementary to listening and speaking.
